Joan and I saw the movie, "Secretariat", this weekend. Wow! It was in July, 1973, when the fastest horse who ever lived, won the Triple Crown having set new race records in two of the three events in the Series—the Kentucky Derby (1:59 2/5), and the Belmont Stakes (2:24)—records that still stand today. One of the phrases in the movie was, "he (Secretariat) was born to race." That got me thinking...
